Available Roles and Settings:
- EC Resource Teacher (Full-Time) – Two positions at an elementary campus, supporting K–5 students in accessing the general curriculum.
- CASE Teacher (Full-Time) – One position in a specialized self-contained classroom, focusing on communication, academics, and social engagement for students with autism or similar profiles, exclusively using general curriculum content.
- EC Teacher (Full-Time) – One position at a middle school, collaborating with staff to deliver tailored instruction in line with students' IEPs.
- EC Resource Teacher (Part-Time) – One position, 20 hours/week (Mon–Thurs, 8:45 AM–1:45 PM), working with K–2 students.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid EC General Curriculum license (not Adapted).
- Background screening and compliance with standard credentialing required.
- Experience or comfort teaching in maximum support/autism-focused, general curriculum classrooms (for CASE teacher role).
- Ability to consistently meet the specific part-time schedule at Silver Valley Elementary.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with elementary and/or middle school populations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in accordance with student needs.
- Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in alignment with general curriculum mandates.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment—especially within self-contained settings as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff for holistic student support.
