Special Education Teacher in Hugo, CO

As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, you’ll blend in-person instructional days with the flexibility of remote administrative duties. The schedule is structured at four days per week, delivering services each Monday through Thursday for a total of 32 hours weekly.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience with early childhood special education preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Comfort with hybrid work environments (on-site for direct services and assessments, remote for paperwork and meetings)
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct special education services and assessments to early childhood students in person across the assigned schools.
- Participate in the development, review, and revision of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress.
- Manage documentation and required reporting with efficiency, leveraging remote flexibility for meetings and paperwork.
- Adhere to all district, state, and federal guidelines regarding special education best practices.
