Key Qualifications:
- Current CTC certification with a Moderate/Severe Special Education credential (Mod/Sev)
- Proven experience working with moderate to severe caseloads in a school environment
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and specialists
- Passion for empowering students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support tailored to each student’s abilities and IEP goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and parents
- Maintain accurate and thorough student records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute to team-based decision making
