Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (OH IS) credential required
- Background in Special Education and co-teaching settings preferred
- Proven ability to support high school-aged students
- Experience with a broad range of disabilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers and related service providers
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a co-teacher in a high school classroom, supporting inclusive education practices
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Provide direct and consultative support to students, ensuring their academic and behavioral success
- Maintain thorough documentation to comply with district and state requirements
- Engage in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
