Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license issued by the State of South Carolina (this is a strict requirement)
- Previous experience working with early childhood or elementary special education caseloads
- Strong foundation in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Effective classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students in grades 3K and 4K in accordance with IEPs
- Adapt lessons and materials to address students’ learning needs and goals
