Special Education Teacher - Lancaster, Ohio

Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Ohio certification/license in Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with multiple disabilities
- Proficiency in writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comfortable working within resource rooms, small group tutoring, and inclusion classroom settings
- Skilled in collaborating with staff and engaging with diverse populations
What You'll Do:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students' educational plans
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate each learner’s unique needs
- Guide kindergarten students in both academic and behavioral growth using evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to foster student success
- Accurately track, document, and report student progress in accordance with IEP goals and state requirements
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
