Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid, active Ohio teaching certificate/license: Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate).
- Experience working with children who have multiple disabilities.
- Familiarity with various educational models, including resource room, small group, and inclusive environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate within diverse educational teams.
- Proficiency in accessing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies for kindergarten students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction, small group tutoring, and in-class support.
- Write, update, and track student progress on IEPs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.
- Foster an inclusive, caring, and positive learning atmosphere.
