You’ll work full time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 3:30, in a collaborative school environment known for dedication to student success. The position is designed to be dynamic and responsive: if you’re open to variety, you can split your week between two welcoming campuses located just 2.5 miles apart. Prefer to stay in one location? That option is also available to best fit your preferences and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials or certification, preferably for elementary grade levels
- Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in inclusive or resource classroom settings
- Strong knowledge of general curriculum as well as IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability to manage a mixed caseload and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with varied abilities
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with educational best practices
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service professionals
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and growth
- Effectively manage schedules and caseload across campuses or within one, depending on your preference
