Special Education Teacher - Leominster, Massachusetts
Special Education Teachers are needed for contract opportunities working with K-12 students in Massachusetts. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (required)
- Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities in K-12 settings
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and effective instructional strategies
- Ability to adapt to different classroom models, including inclusion, resource, and self-contained classrooms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers
Role Overview:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Create and maintain a positive, structured learning environment that encourages student growth and participation
- Track progress, gather data, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service professionals to foster student success
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support each child’s learning journey
