Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Lewiston, Maine for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs while working alongside a collaborative educational team.
Position Details:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting
Qualifications:
- Active Maine Special Education (282) Teaching License required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs
