Special Education Teacher | Full-Time | Charlotte, NC Area
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based opportunity in the Charlotte, North Carolina area (Lincolnton, NC) for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs while collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Create and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities

- Elementary, middle, and high school opportunities may be available
- Resource, inclusion, and self-contained classroom assignments may be available
- Caseload and assignment details discussed during the interview process
- Positions are located in Lincolnton, NC, approximately 45 minutes northwest of Charlotte
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active North Carolina Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Previous school-based or Special Education experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field required
Master's Degree preferred
