Special Education Teacher - Lind, Washington

Key Details:
- 4-day work week, approximately 31 hours per week
- 7.75 working hours per day
- Assignment runs from late August 2025 through early June 2026
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State teaching certificate with special education endorsement required
- Previous experience working in special education classrooms strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Create engaging lesson plans and adapt curriculum materials
- Foster a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere geared toward student success
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents/guardians
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
