Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Knowledge of current best practices in special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group instruction for students with diverse learning needs
- Co-teach with general education teachers to promote integrated learning
- Develop, implement, and monitor students’ IEPs
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to adapt instructional strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
