Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess an active Colorado Department of Education teaching certificate
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism within a school district setting
- Strong behavioral management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Adaptable, patient, and committed to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction using evidence-based strategies for students with autism
- Track and document progress, making informed adjustments to learning goals as necessary
- Partner with other educators, therapists, and paraprofessionals to create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for continued success
This position comes with a competitive pay structure reflective of your years of experience within school settings:
- $49–52/hr for educators with 0–2 years of relevant school experience
- $52–55/hr for those with 3–5 years
- $55–58/hr for 6–9 years
- $58–61/hr for 10+ years
