Qualifications:
- Current teaching certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school environment
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized and small-group instruction in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and student records
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Engage in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
