Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Current teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
- Experience teaching special education at the middle or high school level (grades 7–11 preferred)

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and administrators
- Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and instructional strategies

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse learning needs in 7th to 11th grade classrooms
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress and regularly assess learning outcomes using data-driven methods
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and ensure inclusion
- Provide academic and behavioral support to promote independence and self-advocacy
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, fostering strong partnerships
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary consultations
