Special Education Teacher | Marana, Arizona

These roles span a range of specialized programs, including elementary and middle school behavior programs, a resource setting, K-8 behavior intervention, and an elementary adaptive program. You’ll help create structured, nurturing classrooms and collaborate with professionals who share your focus on student growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and active Arizona DOE Special Education Certification
- Current fingerprint clearance card
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Versatility to support varying caseloads (including behavior and resource programs)
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Ability to work onsite for the full academic calendar
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Promote positive behavior and social skills development
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and service professionals
- Adapt curriculum and lessons to meet diverse student needs
- Track student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Participate fully in teacher orientation and school professional development
This is a full-time contract position, scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, aligned with student and teacher calendars. You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in students’ lives while growing as a professional within a supportive school community.
