Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or closely related field
- Experience with high school aged students preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in collaborating with general educators, related service providers, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction in a dedicated special education setting to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, write, and execute IEPs in adherence with district and state standards
- Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust instruction as appropriate
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in panel-style Zoom interviews and meet onboarding requirements, including school-specific training and fingerprint clearance
