Details of the assignment:
- Full-time position, starting as soon as possible through May 28, 2027
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Roles available from elementary structured support to middle school co-teaching, serving students with mild to no behavioral needs
- Small caseloads (6 students elementary, 11 students middle school)
- Excellent classroom support teams include teaching assistants and behavior technician support
- Some students require toileting assistance; minimal feeding assistance required
Preferred qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure in Special Education (state-specific as required)
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school populations
- Comfortable providing toileting assistance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, compassion, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized instruction to meet students’ IEP goals
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and other support staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records
- Providing a positive, inclusive environment fostering learning and growth
- Supporting students’ daily living needs as necessary
