Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with Special Education certification
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a self-contained setting
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong understanding of various learning and behavioral disabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven patience, compassion, and creativity in supporting all learners
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Adapt and modify curriculum and instruction to suit each child’s needs

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students with behavior, social skills, and daily living activities as needed
- Maintain detailed records and documentation per school and state requirements
