These full-time positions run from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and are fully onsite.
Preferred candidates bring proven classroom expertise and strong behavioral management skills and are comfortable adapting instruction in an urban setting. The positions require confident, resourceful professionals who demonstrate subject mastery and create engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards. Your instructional skills will help differentiate and drive student progress, ensuring each learner's strengths are valued and nurtured.
Qualifications:
- Valid active certification/licensure for caseload (special education)
- Bachelor’s degree required for emergency teaching permit
- Experience working in a school setting, with preference for urban education experience
- Demonstrated mastery of related subject matter and instructional practices
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans aligned with current standards
- Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
- Ability to complete all required PA clearances
- Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
- Comfortable with expected schedule and location; must be able to work within required hours
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans and assessments
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to student learning
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support personnel
- Monitor and report student progress and maintain compliance with IEP goals
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
