Position Details

- Position: Special Education Teacher
- School Year: August 20, 2026 – June 10, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Daily Schedule: 8 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Openings: 2
- Grade Levels: 4th-6th Grade
- Setting: Elementary Mild/Moderate Special Education
- Caseload: Maximum of 28 Students
- Classroom Support: 1 Instructional Aide Assigned
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent communication
- Support student academic, behavioral, and social growth
Qualifications
- Active California CTC Special Education Credential Required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
