Qualifications:
- Active LBS1 certification required; at minimum, a Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (past or present)
- Previous experience working in Special Education settings
- Background in supporting self-contained or cross-category classrooms is highly desirable
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary students in grades 1-4
- Adapt lesson plans and interventions to meet diverse learning needs in a self-contained setting
- Collaborate with classroom staff, therapists, and families to track progress and adjust strategies
- Maintain compliance with IEPs and district policies
