This position is dedicated to supporting students in onsite school settings near Monmouth, OR, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across diverse caseloads. We are currently interviewing for five dynamic professionals with the following skills and experience:
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Valid and active Special Education Teacher certification/license in Oregon.
- Demonstrated experience managing elementary behavior classrooms, including interventions for physical aggression and elopement.
- Proven ability to successfully run high-volume Learning Resource Classrooms, averaging 43 students.
- Strong collaborative style and open communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.
- Must provide contact information for your three most recent supervisors for reference—this is essential for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and interventions for students with a variety of behavioral and learning needs.
- Lead or support high-needs elementary behavior classrooms or facilitate effective learning in a large LRC setting.
- Coordinate with related service providers, families, and support staff.
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment onsite daily.
