Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to support an elementary mild/moderate caseload for the 2026–2027 school year. This role will primarily focus on providing resource and/or inclusion support to students with diverse learning needs while ensuring compliance with all special education requirements.

Resource and/or inclusion support setting anticipated
Specific caseload details to be provided by the district
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct special education instruction and academic support
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain compliance documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
Qualifications
Active Colorado Special Education License or ability to obtain through reciprocity required
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Strong understanding of IEP compliance, documentation, and special education processes
Effective communication and collaboration skills
