What you’ll bring:
- Valid state Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher within resource, inclusion, or self-contained classroom settings
- Proven ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Passion for fostering independence, social skills, and academic progress in students with disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Expertise in implementing IEPs and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations

- Delivering instruction and intervention for students in 3rd-5th and 6th-8th grade resource/inclusion classes or an elementary self-contained classroom
- Creating individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Collecting data, tracking student progress, and documenting goals within IEP frameworks
- Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and student success
- Utilizing evidence-based strategies to support students with significant Autism, particularly in self-contained classrooms
