Essential Qualifications:
- Active EC General Curriculum licensure (required)
- Experience in special education settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Ability to plan and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable delivering instruction in resource, pull-out, and inclusion models
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 17 students in 3rd to 5th grades
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and interventions across resource, pull-out, and inclusion settings
- Develop, monitor, and document individualized educational plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other school professionals to support student integration and progress
- Maintain regular communication with families regarding progress, goals, and strategies
- Advocate for student needs and work collaboratively to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
