Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Pay : up to $45/hour
We are seeking four dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school district in Mt. Clemens, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple openings are available across various grade levels, offering an excellent opportunity to find the best fit for your experience and passion.
Position Details
Start Date: August 10, 2026
End Date: June 9, 2027
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th Grade
Multiple openings available with assignments at different age and grade levels
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working with K–12 students preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for helping students achieve academic and personal success
