Elementary Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide specialized instruction to support students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
- Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth and independence.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
