What We’re Looking For:
- Current dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education (required)
- Experience working with young learners in a classroom or school setting
- Knowledge of IEP processes, differentiated instruction, and positive behavior strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with parents, students, and fellow educators
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, nurturing environments where all children can succeed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction for elementary-age students with varied needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, collaborating with general education teachers and families
- Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral development using evidence-based practices
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings, adhering to school and district guidelines
This full-time opportunity runs from August 2026 to June 2027, offering a weekly schedule of 32.5 to 37.5 hours and an engaging, professional setting committed to inclusive education.
