An exciting contract opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Special Education Teacher skilled in supporting middle school students. This position runs from as soon as possible through June 18, 2027, offering the chance to work directly with three high-functioning students in a Life Skills program. The focus is on academic growth, with no significant medical needs involved, allowing you to dedicate your expertise to educational progress and individualized support.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification required
- Middle school teaching experience in special education settings
- Familiarity and experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) highly preferred
- Experience working with high-functioning students with academic schedules
- Strong collaborative skills for partnering with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and classroom management abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instruction for three middle school students in Life Skills
- Assess academic progress and adapt lesson plans to meet evolving student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and successful academic integration
- Maintain up-to-date IEPs and document student growth
- Communicate regularly with families to build positive, effective partnerships
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
