What you’ll bring:
- Valid and active Connecticut Special Education Teaching License
- Meeting all current state certification requirements for Special Education instruction
- Familiarity with CT-SEDS or experience using other Special Education data and reporting platforms is highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt instruction plans for individual student needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing differentiated lesson plans in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conducting classroom and one-on-one instruction to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
- Maintaining ongoing communication with school teams, families, and related service providers
- Accurately tracking progress and documenting all required data within state and district systems
- Contributing to IEP meetings and collaborating to create positive educational outcomes
