Special Education Teacher in New Britain, CT

Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher License (and any required certifications)
- Experience or strong interest in special education across varied grade levels
- Adaptability and commitment to supporting student growth
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
- Willingness to work onsite
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and tailored instruction to students with special needs following IEPs
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate individual learning styles and abilities
- Monitor and document progress, adapting strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and administrators for student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insight regarding student development
