As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll utilize your skills to develop and implement personalized educational plans, adapting instructional strategies to meet each student’s unique needs. The schedule offers consistency, allowing you to plan your weeks efficiently:
Work Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Total: 24 hours per week, split between two schools.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
- Experience delivering services in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to work across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver accommodating lesson plans for a diverse student population
- Work closely with general education teachers and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families
- Track student progress and maintain documentation
- Provide a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
