Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement (DSAP-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply)
- Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience
- Proven ability to write, implement, and manage IEPs
- Background in high school resource settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide push-in and pull-out academic support for a caseload of approximately 25 high school students
- Write and implement effective IEPs
- Attend and present in IEP meetings
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support classroom success
