- Valid North Carolina Teaching License with proper endorsement for middle and/or high school
- Experience or strong interest in working within inclusion/resource environments

- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering an inclusive classroom culture
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction and accommodations for students with exceptional needs
- Serve as a resource teacher within both middle and high school settings, working in partnership with general education staff
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Utilize data to refine instructional strategies and ensure student growth
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required
- Engage families and staff in supporting student success through regular communication and collaboration

- Full-time schedule (35 hours weekly), allowing for meaningful relationships with students
