Essential Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Special Education License, or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued.
- Strong grasp of IEP development, implementation, and compliance procedures.
- Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary educational teams.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and tailored academic support to students requiring mild to moderate special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Track student progress using best practices and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
- Partner closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
- Engage actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to develop holistic education plans.
- Provide resource and/or inclusion support, adapting to the needs of each learner and classroom environment.
