This position is based onsite near Oneida, WI, supporting elementary and high school learners in dynamic educational settings. Across three openings, your expertise will help shape positive, inclusive learning environments in elementary autism programs, early childhood (EC), and a high school classroom for students with intellectual disabilities. The assignment runs from August 31, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license active in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with autism and intellectual disabilities
- Endorsements in Elementary Special Education and behavior intervention required
- Previous classroom teaching experience, especially with diverse learning needs and ability levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative team spirit and a flexible approach to meeting student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualized instruction for students across assigned caseloads
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusive education
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize positive behavioral supports and targeted interventions
- Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
