Qualifications needed for this position:

- Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure for Special Education Teaching
- Previous classroom experience supporting students with special needs is a plus

- Passion for differentiated instruction and adapting curriculum to meet a diverse range of learning needs
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and delivering instructional materials tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels supported and empowered
- Collaborating closely with general education staff, support personnel, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Regularly monitoring student progress, documenting outcomes, and communicating achievements and areas for growth
- Participating in IEP meetings and staying current on best practices in special education
