Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License.
- Possess a current K-12 Special Education Certificate.
- Possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Demonstrated experience working with students with emotional disabilities or students who require social and self-regulatory support.
- Proficient in developing and implementing special education services and related documents aligned with federal, state, and district standards.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to participate in, Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training.
- Awareness of the diverse needs of at-risk, ELL, and exceptional students.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead self-contained classrooms for students with behavioral needs, focusing on structured, supportive environments.
- Design and deliver individualized instruction to meet a range of eligibility areas and student needs.
- Collaborate with school teams and families to develop personalized education plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in professional development to continually enhance instructional practices.
- Support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth within a positive, inclusive environment.
