Multiple contract positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year, working onsite in dynamic Language/Autism Units across several schools serving grades K-5. You will work closely with dedicated paraeducators in each classroom, providing creative instruction and specialized interventions that make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

Qualifications & Experience
- Valid or eligible Alabama Special Education Teacher licensure (verification required)
- Experience teaching students with autism, communication, or developmental needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and strong classroom management abilities
- Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized learning plans for students in self-contained Language/Autism Units
- Partner with classroom paraeducators to support instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with special education laws, policies, and student confidentiality
