Special Education Teacher | Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Qualifications:
- Valid and active Ohio certificate/license in Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
- Experience working with students who have multiple disabilities and familiarity with diverse student populations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in resource rooms, provide small group tutoring, and support inclusion models
- Proficiency in accessing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, flexibility, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and interventions to kindergarten students, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs
- Facilitate learning in a variety of settings, including resource rooms, small groups, and inclusion classrooms
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and other professionals to ensure each student receives comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to the development and review of IEPs
- Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth in each student, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
