Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Analyze behavioral data to evaluate student progress and make data-driven recommendations.
- Provide direct consultation and ongoing coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct classroom observations and recommend evidence-based behavioral strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Collaborate with special education teams, school psychologists, administrators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings by developing measurable behavioral goals and providing recommendations for accommodations and services.
- Train school staff on positive behavior supports, de-escalation techniques, crisis prevention, and effective classroom management strategies.
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Active New Hampshire licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start date).
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related field.
- Previous experience providing behavioral services in a school setting is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), FBAs, BIPs, behavior data analysis, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
