What You'll Bring:
- Current certification in Special Education (required)
- Demonstrated classroom experience in resource and/or inclusion settings
- Expertise supporting students with Autism, especially within a self-contained environment
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom community
What You'll Do:
- Deliver tailored instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs
- Collaborate with staff to integrate students into general education settings as appropriate
- Manage IEP documentation, assessment, and progress monitoring
- Foster a supportive, encouraging classroom environment that builds confidence and independence
