Desired Qualifications:
- EC-4 or EC-6 teaching certification required (EC-12 certified applicants encouraged)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Strongly preferred: Prior work as a Dyslexia teacher
- Dedication to managing Dyslexia caseloads and supporting elementary students’ academic development
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and develop personalized education plans for students with special needs
- Serve as a case manager for Dyslexia students, ensuring tailored intervention strategies and monitoring progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other educators to optimize student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to diverse workplace practices
