Travel Special Education Teacher | San Antonio, Texas

Qualifications:
- Valid Teaching Certifications: Texas Generalist and Special Education (must have both)
- Certification to teach EC-6th grade in Special Education, all levels required
- Experience or strong interest in self-contained classroom environments focused on life skills
- Strong dedication to individualized instruction and inclusive education
Responsibilities:
- Lead a self-contained classroom for students with significant learning or life skills needs
- Develop and carry out Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Implement adapted curriculum and behavior strategies
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to promote student growth
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all requirements
