High School Special Education Teacher (9-12)
San Jose, CA
Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire a High School Special Education Teacher (9-12) for a high school campus (9-12) for next school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with general education teachers to design and deliver differentiated, universally designed lessons
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, including transition planning for post-secondary goals
- Monitor student progress and facilitate collaborative problem-solving with the school's student support team
Qualifications:
- California Education Specialist Credential – Mild/Moderate
- Experience supporting high school mild/moderate caseloads
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and collaborative planning skills
