English as a Second Language (ESL) Special Education Teacher - Scottsdale, Arizona

A unique opportunity is available for an Educational Support System Teacher to collaborate with a dedicated faculty and support students in grades 6-12. This full-time contract runs through May 2023 with a flexible option to work fully remote or in person, offering you the chance to make a tangible difference in the Chandler area. The daily schedule is from 7:45 am to 3:05 pm, with occasional adjustments to accommodate IEP meetings as needed.
As a valued professional in this role, you’ll connect with a caseload of 15-20 students and provide essential interventions across special education, ESL, and learning disabilities support. Rapid interviews are available to streamline your hiring process.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona state certification in Special Education
- Skills or licensure in special education teaching, ESL, or as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)
- Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting instruction to individual needs
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and behavioral growth
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Specifically Designed Instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
- Accurately monitor progress and collect data to inform instruction and report outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff
- Adapt teaching strategies to foster engagement and academic success for all students
