There are openings for one Severe/Profound certified teacher (Early Childhood certification highly desired; Elementary also welcome) and two Mild/Moderate certified teachers (Elementary certification preferred). Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Early Childhood teaching certification and/or Elementary certification
- Severe/Profound certification for one position; Mild/Moderate for two positions
- At least one year of Special Education teaching experience in a school setting
- Proven ability to adapt and differentiate instruction to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for making meaningful connections and empowering students
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for students with severe/profound or mild/moderate needs
- Deliver engaging, adaptive instruction based on the unique strengths and needs of each learner
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and team members
- Uphold best practices in classroom management, safety, and reporting
