Special Education Teacher in Spokane, WA

- Valid Special Education teaching certification for Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Relevant experience working in a K-12 special education setting is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
